WTT: My Laptop for MiniDV cam...or other
Hey guys...looking to trade my Acer Tablet PC for a MiniDV camera with video-in capabilities so I can hook up a helmet cam.
The tablet is practically brand new. It features an Intel Pentium M processor @ 1.10GHZ, with 512mb RAM & a 60gb hard drive. Internal Wireless, Internal Bluetooth, and Internal Network. External DVD/CDRW.
The difference between this tablet and your standard notebook is that it is much smaller than a laptop, and has many additional features. You can turn the monitor 180-degrees and fold it down for a flat type, touch screen notebook. It has a stylus that you use instead of the mouse, and you can write notes or whatever on it. It's hard to explain, but it's really cool. It also has handwriting recognition so for example, you can actually use the stylus (like a digital pen) and write a word into the google search box and it will recognize it just like you typed it in with the keyboard. It obviously has many other uses, but that's just an example.
The model is an Acer TravelMate C110. It is much like the model seen here...

I could not find the C110 model, but the one above is close, with slightly better hardware. The hardware in the model I have is described in the first part of this post.
The tablet will be loaded with a fresh copy of Windows XP Tablet PC addition (same as windows XP pro, but added features that the tablet uses). Office XP, and just about any other goodies you want. I have all the original boxes, carrying case, and all that jazz.
Let me know what you got....

Re: WTT: My Laptop for MiniDV cam...or other
Does this thing play DVD's?
I might be down for a trade, I'm in the market for a new camera anyway, I wanna get onea the professional ones for filmin our DVD.
Mines a cannon miniDV, it has a av in/out, takes good video, and its small, orginally thats why i got it, so it would be small enough to fit in my tail for a helmet cam. I'll try to find a link to the specs on it
