FS 89 Camaro Z-28 Clone Lots of mods

First off it needs paint, headliner, carpet and in about a year tires. Other than that maybe a chip burn. Automatic. It has the following: ZZ4 Intake, TBI adapter, TPI 350 heads, 350 engine, (intake and heads were freshly put on) 92 steering column, 97 gray seats 30th anniv., custom door panels, $5,000 (might be more) stereo system, alot of newer parts like radiator, cat-back exhaust, water pump, optima battery, 200 amp alt., rear shocks, front disk drilled/slotted roters, new front pads. Most likely I am missing alot. Extras that could come with the car for some extra $ are 96 camaro rims (look good if cromed), 91-92 areo ground effects, rear low rise spoiler, weld in sub-frame connectors, and the stereo system (I aint crazy, that system cost alot of $) Also it might need a cowl hood as the ZZ4 intake and adapter plate raised the TBI higher than stock. A cowl hood can be bought for $350 and if I get a really good offer I will put one on.
You can call my wife at the phone number, ask for michelle. Right now I am getting it running and tuned and I am trying to get the chip burned for it also. I have all the equiptment for the chip burn which could go with the car also. I will not take less than $2,500 and thats not includeing the extras. Offers still welcome but dont insult me. I spent pleanty of $ on getting it to this level. Some might have called a lost cause but I kept going and now I want a manual tranny so this must go. Ft. Bragg, NC 28307. Thanks!

Gotta bump it. Wifes sister gave me this car since she knows I love third gens and I spent well over 6 grand on the car since I got it not including the stereo stuff I put in. The head unit is worth $650 along and if you know Polk Momo those are 2 12" subs. Custom Q logic box. Alot of love in this car. But its gotta go.

Re: FS 89 Camaro Z-28 Clone Lots of mods

Still up for sale of course. Willing to go for $2,600 with all extras included minus the 2 rockford fosgate amps. Hell thats a deal for the stereo equiptment plus a camaro to boot! Head unit=$600, Subs=$600, Box=$350, Battery=$250, Alturnator=$250, Sirius Radio equiptment=$350, Wireing=$250, 6X9's=$120. Now for the camaro Engine 4years old=$1400, ZZ4 intake=$300, TPI 350 Heads=$300, cat back exhaust=$700, custom door panels=$350, 30th anny seats=$650, 91-92 ground effects=$350, 96 camaro rims=$400, 92 camaro steering wheel and column=$200

I could go further but why waste my time listing everything? If anyone is interested in this car email me. All that money dont count the numerous times its been serviced. By the way, that all adds up to $7,420 check my math. And I know I missed some stuff for sure.

Why not just part it out, you may get more money that way. BTW you paid 650 for the seats, ouch. Sorry, just kinda surprised me.

Problem with that is 1 I am in Iraq and 2 Ft. Bragg dont like cars being taken apart like that on post. Plus I dunno if I could do it to something I worked so hard on. I would rather see someone do something with it. thanks though

Re: FS 89 Camaro Z-28 Clone Lots of mods

Ok, willing to go under $2,300. Kelly blue book retails at $2,495. Now thats not calculating that it needs a paint job OR all the MANY mod I have done. So I think that I am asking for a fair price. Just think if this car was painted, I could get well over $5,000 for it. Kinda sucks I guess that I have to sell it but I have no other choice. This would be a great project for someone who could paint! I wish I knew how and had the equiptment and time to do so. Email me at Red_johnny@yahoo.com if you are interested. THX!

Re: FS 89 Camaro Z-28 Clone Lots of mods

Still got it and I will have it for at least another 3 weeks. I still got to get it timed and a few other things done. Dunno if the chip burn will happen or not because its just not worth it for me to do that when I am selling it with all the stuff you need to do it yourself. Drop me a line if your interested. THX

Re: FS 89 Camaro Z-28 Clone Lots of mods

New info: Car is at the shop and is running and as the mechanic put it, VERY LOUD EXHAUST! Which means the upgrades I did paid off! He is trying to find a EGR valve that will work and he is looking for the TBI adapter kit and the car will be done. All and all the mechanics work will cost me near $900 so tack that as a loss on top of everything else I have done. Price is still $2,300 FIRM since the mechanics work cost more than I had originally thought. It should be done by at the latest mid next week. Ready for any of you looking to hook up a camaro with TBI. Mechanic said it would benefit more if it had a 4 barrel carb but I still est the HP around 250-270. Add a cam and you are looking at better gains, add headers same thing. Please help me out people, I need to sell this vette so this soldier can have himself a nice vette when he comes home on R&R in July (might be earlier). Thanks alot and looking forward for any replys!

http://www.intellichoice.com/reports...0&IN_NumPkgs=0

Just found this Link to what the value of the car is, trade in and retail. This is not factoring the newer 5.7 engine and stuff, seats, ect. Since this was stock at 170HP I still est HP to be around 250-270 cause of the 55lbs injectors, TPI heads, Intake, Cat back exhaust, K&N filter, and after the chip burn more gains!

Re: FS 89 Camaro Z-28 Clone Lots of mods

The mechanic at the shop wants to buy the car and I will sell it to him for 1800 minus all the extras and stereo equiptment. With all the stereo stuff and extras it will be 2300 still. With just the stereo stuff it would be 2100. If this deal goes through I will be selling the extra stuff like the ground effects seperatly. THX

Re: FS 89 Camaro Z-28 Clone Lots of mods

The car is going into the other shop today and should be done by the end of this week that is if all goes well. It will be ready for someone willing to fork out the $. I dont think it will be around for long once it is done so you all dont have too long to make up your minds if you wanna buy her or not. My wife is also going to put an ad in the paper as soon as it is done. We are advertising it at our yard sale this weekend too. THX
