honda 600 f3
Whats up guys.. Ive been riding a 600rr for the last year and am ready to get a lot bike. Anyways my buddy called me today that found a 1997 600 f3 with 10k miles. Clean title blah blah and he wants 1500 for it. Is this a decent bike to stunt with ? Is it possible to get cages and 12 bars for this or am I better saving up for sumpin a little newer. Its missing the taili fairing on it, and it needs a tune up but other than that it seems to be in decent condition. I tried clutchin it up and it came up a little but im sure geared that ***** would pop right up. The front brake also dont seem steady if that makes sense. Gimme some opinions guys. Im looking at jumping on this tomorrow if its a good deal. I can post some pics if you wanna see photos but im sure someone here has gotta know the bike.

KBB.com (Kelly Blue book) Put a good condition example with 30K for about $3700. (Thats with fairings...)
1500 or anything close is good for a low mileage F3...

indestructable. no doubt about it. 905 cage has been good to me. Its been through a little over 2 years of hard crashes, only now started to break down, which is amazing. I would definatly buy it again. Only parts I've broken are a couple front masters, 2 throttle assemblies, and 2 windshields (which is why i usually have it streetfightered. And...yeah, I crash alot.
stock front sprocket and +13 rear is barely streetable, but I ride it. I paid $2500 for my f2 with 36,000 miles on it(it was absolutly MINT back then, factory glossy paint, and CLEAN). Now the odo shows 46,000(remind you that most of my riding hasn't had the guages on) all hard riden miles. If it rattles put an APR manual CCT on it.

The bike is still on its original clutch... 65K+ (I havent been riding it since I crashed it, but cutch will be first when its back on the road..)
I have a 2003 954 & the 94 F2. The 954 is too minty to go full stunt, so the F2 will become my dedicated stunt bike. Plus, everyone keeps saying how strong honda made the f2/f3 bikes!
BUY THAT BIKE NOW BEFORE THE CHANCE IS GONE!!!

Re: honda 600 f3
Oh yeah, I forgot, I replaced the rectifier with one off ebay ($~80) and it solved my charging probs that developed a few months after I got it. Also the clutch started to slip, but that was probly my early squidish burnouts that glazed the friction plates in it. Clutch actually pretty easy to do yourself.
One more thing. Buy Honda-Brand Parts...or atleast: Brake Pads, Clutch Discs, Clutch Springs, Oil, and no matter what, buy honda fork seals :YEAH
