954 wobbling in turn exit
954 wobbling in turn exit
Well after negotiating a turn, when i m back hard on the gas, the bike starts wobling back and forth, it s like i m loosing traction but i m not sliding in one motion, it s a wavy feeling, up and down and left to right, and if i keep pusjing it, the feeling remains even when i straighten it . Any input on the subject?
Re: 954 wobbling in turn exit
Its called a tank slapper. when getting on the gas the front end gets light and skips across the ground. If you are hitting it that hard you might wont to get a stearing dampener. I used a gpr on my 929 and loved it.
Re: 954 wobbling in turn exit
I was thinking maybe i had a bad body position cause i feel more stable with my torso weight on the tank, is it an issue?

It's different when you are "coming" out of a turn vs. already going straight. When you come out of a turn you are stressing the chassis and suspension and if either one of those is bent, you'll feel it under hard acceleration coming out of corners. And depending on the severity of the issue, you may feel it on low speed corners.

some times un equally ajusted forks will cause this. also big thing if say along time ago some one blew one fork seal.. they may have had one fork seal replaced and on fork has thicker viscosity oil..
Re: 954 wobbling in turn exit
you have too much gas in your tank again

My tires r new, turned out it was the alligment of the tyres and now that they are broken in i m having a blast, even smoothed out my wheelie and have no problem clutching at any speed need to work on balancing it now but i m leaving my country and have to sell the bike, so i hope it wouldn t be to long to get another on in my new location. thank you for the help guys
How new or old are your tires?

im mainly a freestyle rider but i got me a clean 929 now and she will do the same thing your talking about when u realllllllllly get on the gas after a hard lean.. it feels to be like its actually spinning / grabbing kinda feels like the *** of the bike is wagging rite? ive seen this alot on on pro races there rear tires are all over the fukin place. jus keep it under controll lol
+1 the suspension will deff help try n keep that tire in contact with the pavement and reduce that feeling but i think if ur that heavy on the gas its still gona do it.
