i know its a flatside carb, dont really know a hell of alot about it, what kind of carb dose the drz have stock

The FCR is a flatside carb. I dont know why its better it just is.

The stock carb on a DRZ S or SM is a mikuni CV carb. Its a good carb for different alts, and easy to tune. It also does well with emissions and etc. Thats why the DRZ E ( dirt only model ) has the FCR carb.

I see.... here are some pics of the relocation bracket, signals, tail light, and liscense plate setup I finished up last night.

Ricerocket!! Where did you get that light? How did you mount it? Where is a good place to get led lights like that??

www.cyclegadgets.com is where I got the tail light. 39 bux... The liscense plate light was from autozone... white leds.... and the turnsignals are Lockhart Phillips Short Stalk V's I believe.

I bought some aluminum angle and mounted the brake to the that. It is mounted with the two bolt holes in the subframe. The other piece was flat aluminum that I bent to work for the liscense plate frame. If you need either I have some extra pieces laying around and may be able to make the same setup for you.

LOOKS GOOD BRO!!
I just ordered the Hyperlites 3 way led thingy. 99 bucks and it is the size of a cigarette box and has brake light, running light, and blinkers !! Its powerful but tiny!!! Should do the job and make the bike look sick!!

on suzukis web site it says 295 dry. for the honda xr650r it says only 277. thats crazy i would think the 400 would weigh less.

did you go with the yosh trc titanium? i pick up my 05 drz 400sm this thursday and it will have the trc titanium exhaust and my buddy told me that the k & n filter do wonders for it so i will throw that at it also. I want to order the 06 blinker lenses thought they are clear compared to amber, you pictures are awesome ! keep it up and keep them coming!
