instead of trying to ruin a guys business by bashing him on a forum you prob. should have called him and came to an agreement like he said the material your chose wasnt the "stunt" one. do to wear and tear of a stunters bike and seat your seat looks like it does you should have thought about that before you chose that material for a stunt bike.
but thats just my opinion. and thats what forums are i guess...so continue your mindless bashing.

If you to Post #1 its all here from the original conversation, I sent him detailed pics he decided he was not going to do anything so I posted to others dont get the shaft as well.

If you kept reading there are several others that have the same identical seats and they look new. Its not the seat, its the piece of material used on the left side only.

By the sound of it that's UNTIL they actually need fixed than there's no warranty! I won't be buying from scs now!

I think you will loose more customers than you think by telling this guy that your not going to fix it for him!

That's bad business plain and simple!!

If these seats were a year old or older, it would be a little more understandable but they didn't even last 2 months!

they might put there feet in different spots on the seat everyone has different riding styles. i run stock seats they looke fine...my friend runs stock seats they are beat to ****. he might ride more then me...or harder....or feet in diffent spots. like brian said seats are for sitting and like josh said its not the stunt material. so color it in and call it a day. stunt riding isnt easy on the bike and that includes the seats. in my opinion it looks like your toes would be right in the worn spot on your seat. but i dont know ive never ridden with you.

i dont know josh, i know he supports alot of riders and i have seen the "stunt" material take some beatings. so i can see where hes coming from asa business owner. you chose a custom fabric that isnt made to take abuse.

$200 dollar seats for me to stand and jump on isnt my style, but i do beleive in good customer service, and i see none of that here in this thread.

I was done with SCS when I posted here, not looking for anything more than to show exactly what to expect if you have issues. Unless your from PA then your covered under the full warranty.

Word

I had seats done a few years back out of some fake LV material and so did Gary and they lasted for ever. I seen garys old seats about 2 months ago and they were great looking for as long as they have been done. But I would never pay over 100 for any 2 seats to get covered. I do think that material looks like cheap **** though .02

Re: SCS - Josh @ Star Custom Seats = Bad Business

Just to throw in my two cents. I had both my seats done by SCS about a year ago and I've thoroughly enjoyed them. They've started to wear and develop some rips/seams going out, but I've had them for over a year of abuse and fully expect that. However, at one point I e-mailed him concerning a rip that had developed that perhaps could have been avoided and he offered to fix it for free

Also, it's hilarious to see how MiNi GuineA is reacting here when he's on the other side of the fence after he acted so belligerent in that DCP thread a few weeks back

Even if the radiator hole, cage hole did not line up correctly how does this puncture your radiator?? Your original post pictures show no damage at all, only 2 points that dont line up. this is like calling out sick innovations because you tried to put there cage on crooked and stripped your motor mounts, i mean ******* seriously. I dont represent d.c.p. So carry on with your desperate attempt to get your radiator replaced.

The problem with the dcp radiator cages are the jigs are for 100% perfect radiators, only 5% of stunt bikes have minty radiators that will fit perfect. The majority of the weak rads have shifted shape over time and take some care getting them inside the cage.
