Calling aLL NY stunters and stunteresses
Re: Calling aLL NY stunters and stunteresses
****.. the DMV is telling me I have to schedule a salvage inspection for any of the bikes with salvage titles that we are registering in NY.
He said we'd just say we bought them as is (street legal) and that should be the end of it.. but it's still like $200.
Does anyone have any friends at the DMV that could help out

I wish I could just find a DMV employee to register it without the need for the inspection. It's pointless in my case.

No, I still have to schedule the inspection and pay the fee, but me saying I bought it as is and explaining the nature of CA salvage titles should be all I need to do (in addition to the guy looking at the bike). It just means that I won't need some bundle of non-existent receipts.
