i can do first gear and second gear standups by powering them, it feels really uncomfortable if i clutch it, i can clutch sit downs in first and second... its not that i cant clutch them up, its just the fact that it doesnt feel right, what do i do? keep doin powers or clutch it up (i can power them up at low rpms too esp. in 1st gear

it felt really weird for the first 10min or so I tried but you get used to it and it actually feels natural
try doing them stagered or with your left foot on the seat

 

and watch out for the bucking!

for now just ride it out and cover the brake
this **** doesn't just happen give it time.

 

yeah the bucking will feel really awkward at first in fact you will never get used to is its kind of an uncontrollable bucking, almost feels like its gonna break....

go clutch it 30-40 times and i promise u after u do that 30-40 times u wont power again and u will get them up every time. consistantly.

oh yeah and make sure you put a cage all around your bike but dont get an ugly one make sure it goes through the wheels and around your exhaust too.

 

and lots of grip tape racing stripes.

 

Once you practice and learn to clutch up staggered , you'll never power it up again, by far the most comfortable and safest way of learning
