shoulda checked that **** out before you traded.. but **** that punk if someone did that to me I'd do some .. maintenance.. to his car.. aka find out what he drives, google the drainplug size.. go to his place late park down the street drain his oil into a catch can and put the plug back in.. in the morning when he fires that bitch up by the time he realises whats happening things gonna be fubar.
yeah go ahead and do something like that.... like said before he shoulda overlooked the bike fully before trading... would u trade someone a car without makin full sure it was in good runng order... same concept dont be nieve or dumb...

don't be stupid about it (messn with cars and junk). You messed up and he lied. bikes are always sold as is so you gotta checkm out really well. confront him about the cdi since the shop has record and ask him to pay half the cost of a new one or somethin. if he doesn't make it right tell people he's no bueno and live and learn.

I've got another idea, this is more for future situations, but from now on for any vehicle you sell, make sure you keep an extra key, just incase you want to take it back, whether it be for this kind of situation or non-payment or whatever, even just to joyride the **** out of it one night while the dude's sleeping, he'll come out the next morning and the ****** tires will be bald! lol
thats exactly what i do. i have a spare key still to every vehicle ive ever owned just in case.
but thats mostly your fault for expecting to trade up for a 1000 with no cash exchange. you shoulda looked the bike over better and thought something must be up. you shoulda waited till you got it running to trade your bike with his. i say fix it sell it and buy another one before anything else pops up. learn a lesson and dont make the same mistake twice. we all get one.

so im going to lincoln tomorrow for a funeral and after im gonna drive further up to omaha where he lives and go to his house to hopefully get my parts and ****. any ideas what to do other than that or if i cant get them? kick in his door on his car or somethign?

i'd suggest waiting around till its later at night no point gettin charged or your gonna get even more pissed if he refuses to make it better then **** his **** up somehow when its like 3am no cars in sight
