can someone hook me up with some info. im doing a tail conversion on my f4 i already got the subframe, seats, aftermarket fairing, as well as aftermarket taillight for an F4i. my problem is that the taillight that i got has the mounting screws directly behind it pointing towards the front of the bike, but the subframe doesnt have mounting holes for and neither does the fairing. on my F4tail the taillight mounted to the tail so im not sure if the aftermarket fairing i got wasnt made with a mounting surface or if im missing a part. when i first started this project i was told that all i would need was the subframe seats and fairing, but i ended up needing the taillight and im also gonna need a new battery tray. if anyone has done this conversion before hook me up please. thanks

 

Yes you need the battery tray/undertray plastic thing as the rear light fits onto this. Other than that you should be fine.. swap subframe, swap battery tray, fit up the lights, the passenger pegs are different but still fit. then fit the twin seat plastics and fit up both the seats.

you need a tank clip thing that holds the tank on and the seat clips into, else your seat wont fit right.

 

what are you doing with your old seat? im looking to try out the banna.

 

thanks for the advice man. im not sure what im doin with the seat yet cuz i might trade the bike in next year(not sure yet) but im not sure if i would get more for it if its stock or converted. the banana sucks i think but if you want ill let you know if i decide to get rid of it.
