learning standups
I've been messing around with sitdown wheelies for a couple weeks now in the lot, and am getting pretty comfortable with the front end coming up. I want to do standups so I can see where I am going, damn tank blocks my view.
Only problem is when I stand up staggered or both feet on the pegs I am leaning way over the front of the bike, and feel like I'm going to get shot off the front when she comes down hard. Is this normal, or do I just have to work on my landings more? Does height have anything to do with this?

Re: learning standups
Your height has nothing to do with it. Just give it gas as it comes down, and don't ride the gear out to high rpms where there is a **** ton of engine brake... either hit bp or put it down before the thing is wrapped out.

Re: learning standups
like dude above said, slow a sitdown then try to standup(in staggered). I learned sitdowns the opposite way,by slowing standups and sitting down. also turning the bars out makes standups way more comfortable.
Re: learning standups
staggered standups are easier to learn than sitdowns... go from sitdown to standup, LOL, that's like telling someone trying to learn spreaders to just jump to them from seat stander
