spluttering ell - fuel issues?

think my fuel pump is on the way out - just got spluttery, and the oddd cut out...

then I noticed when I turn the ignition and the fuel pump primes it sounds a lil weird and whinney - so assume it's knackered?

anyone got a spare f4i tank / fuel pump? I fancy a new dent anyways.

Why not check the pump filter? The 636's have these so im guessing the f4i will have em to. its inside the pump.
