What would you need a cage for?? It's not a sportbike.. your not gonna bust case covers and rear sets.

If you really want some form of crash protection just get a set of Acerbis bark busters/guards to protect the brake and clutch levers.

Re: Cages.

You Can Use The Holes In The Front Of The Frame And Mount A Sportbike Slider To That Then Get Axle Sliders And You Should Be All Set. I Went Over Backwards Doing A Seat Stander At 50 And Drove Away, All That Happened Was I Scuffed The Rear Slider And The Frame Slider.

Re: Cages.

The DRZ case covers are made out of magnesium to help make it lighter, but on the down side they are kind of brittle and very apt to braking or just having the brake/shifter punch throw.

So some kind of cage/slider set up would not hurt.

Plus they the mag covers cost a load.

Re: Cages.

Grind the corners off the back of the gear lever, they're sharp on the stock lever, this is one of the reasons the mag cases puncture so easily.

Or buy some of these :YEAH
