Verry nice bike indeed.

I'm wondering what I should get this summer, the impaktech cage or race rails like you. I already have lsl crash pads on the motor mounted and the i think the clutch cover. I think I put them for sale if I go with the cage.
Could you help me out? (A). What are the pro's & cons of a cage and railz ?

your setup is like mine but you cut the hell out of your clutch lever. This is my newest add on to the other 2 but this is for street riding.

they're FI zero degree clip ons, so flipping them wouldn't do anything because they're just straight with no angle, know what i mean? thanks anyways tho

thanks! i prefer the race rails because they're lighter and easier to take on and off. the full cage is nice but there's A LOT of steal on that thing and it weighs a ton. im tryin to keep my bike as lean as possible! i crashed with both the full cage and my race rails before. bent the impaktech full cage on the first crash, and crashed my race rails about 5 times before they bent. go figure..

yeah i know. i made the mistake of letting a guy cut my lever for me!! it is way too short. i'm suffering with it for now until i feel like dropping $60 for a new one.

your bike looks super clean btw!

yeah I had the FI ones on one of my 07's but after riding one with flipped vortex ones I switched and never looked back just feels way better. See if you can find someone who has flip ones and try it but be ready to spend to cash to get some lol

that 12 bar is just waiting to snap your subframe in half. Those subframes are WAY too weak for a twelve bar. go with a round bar and get some powers sub ties and an OMR subcage. You'll be fine then

I was thinking to cut it at the end of the summer because I´ve more confidence with my foot on that bar than with the rear seat hole or on the footpegs...but now I´m rather afraid of breaking it...

it isn´t a simple 12 bar... it goes near the rear footpegs inside the tail and it has 2 pieces to grab the subframe at the upper and lower section... if I cut it 5" (close to the rear seat like a round bar) and i install a pair of powers sub ties...do you thing it will resist ok?
