need help with decision on new sprocket!!

I need a new rear sprocket cause my ***** bent but i wanted to gear it a little but i don't want to lose that much top end. I am new to the sprocket stuff so i don't know what + - teeth will do for performance.
I have a 99 zx-9r, so what do i need.

I've seen a kit through ron ayers that is -1 in front and stock in rear but will that do anything noticable? A friend told me -1 in front and +3 in the rear will be good but what do u guys think my top speed will be then? I need answers quick cause my bike is down and i'm not riding. I get paid friday and hopefully i will have a good idea on what to order monday so please let me know thanks.

-1 +2 or 3 can't go wrong with that

-1+2 is a good setup that you will never notice the top speed differeance on the street
