Is your car paid for or do you still have a loan on it though??

 

See, down here in Florida the ins. co will notify the dmv and they'll pull your license. (takes a while but it does happen) Sucks when u get caught in that situation... Cuffs and a ride in the cop car for you... But... I got clipped in my car by someone w/out real insurance and it cost me more than 10g's with the lawyers etc.. Even after I won the case.

 

I'm 25 and pay $176 a month on my '03 RC-51
it's my "secondary" bike...my primary is an old '83 suzuki GS that i only pay $16 per month
they put a limit on the miles i can put on the RC but i never even come close to it

 

At first I was going to pull the get insurance so I can get a tag and then drop it. but then my wife brought it to my attention that if I were to accidently(god forbid) hit someone while out messing around that we couldnt afford to pay for it so I just liability. Luckily I dont owe on the bike so thats fine with me. Then again even if you owe and your stuntin do you really want to raise your insurance by having them total it. Liability is the way to go I think.

I have like 15 convictions (all over 5 years old) and an OUI (3years old)
and my full cov.on a 99 900rr is 1200. a year and liability on it is 300. a year

 

See you can get away with it then cuz you don't have some stupid credit union constantly looking over your shoulder at everything you do with it....

 

don't know if it's available in other states, but nationwide is the cheapest i've found in michigan. I'm 21, 0 points, 02gsxr1000, $680/ year w/ $250 deductibles for comp and collision. I told my buddy, 21 , 2 points, 02 r6. He was paying $2000/ year $1000 ded.s for comp and collision. Now he pays $430 / year $250 ded.s

Give them a call, don't waste your money. Progressive wants me to pay $5500 /year w/ $500 ded's

 

yeah that cost me 5 bills here . whats full coverage you cant get it on salvage bikes anyways.
