sounds like you don't have enough pressure for weight to me. If you had too much pressure it would explode, not be flat the next day. Also are you runnin the heavy duty tubes?

Buy a h/d tube and two full size mx tire spoons, Use lots of windex when putting the tire back on. Do you take the tire all the way off the rim when changing a tube? Or are you one of those guys that spend three hours trying to put the stem in blind?

i dunno about heavy duty tube?! The dealer sells me an IRC tube? I just ask for the 2.5/2.75x10 tube, don't remember any H/D on it anywhere..? Damn pressure is a confusing subject some people say im running not enough others say too much..?

Kev, I don't take the tire all the way off just one side.. It only takes me about 30 seconds to get the valvestem back in though?

dont tighten the bolt on the valve stem, you may need to get a rimlock.
or try putting a few dabs of superglue on the bead before you fill it up with air

Re: What in the MOTHERF*CK is the solution

im going to take it all off and apart again tonight and see what the deal is.. I got a new tube on my lunch today. patches never seem to hold for me. must be too fat lol. i could have paid for half of a billet wheel by now at the price of all the tubes iv popped..

naturally the box the tube comes in does not make any mention of proper air pressure level. do I go by whats on the side of the tire itself then?

yes, go by what the tire tells you. skuff up the area around the patch, apply the glue to the hole, let it cure for a couple minutes, set the patch, put some glue around the outside edge so it seals. let it dry for 30mins in the sun before you re use it.
