hey guys, im swapping everything from a xr70 to a xr50 frame, i bought the frame, rims, spokes, plastics, a handlebar clamp, handle bars, a stiffer rear spring, a skid plate and stock tired. here are my questions

1)do u see anything im missing that i will need?

2)can i use a 20mm carb kit thats for a xr50 on the xr70 engine?

3) Will the hubs from the xr70 wheels work with the xr50 rims and spokes?

4) How expensive is powder coating and can i do it myself at home? If i can what do i need and how do i do it?

5)will the gas tank fit the xr50 frame

6) is there anything else i should know before doing the swap??

All the engine components are the same...the 20mm carb you asked me about will work.

powdercoating is somewhat expensive...stripping the frame is the hardest time consuming part. I wouldn't waste your time trying to do it yourself at home.....

Dont use the wheels, they will look gay because they are biger.

 

i bought xr50 rims and spokes and tires. im not using the xr70 wheels. I was wondering the the xr70 hubs will work with the xr50 spokes and rims.
