Man, this thread has been hanging on for ever. For what its worth I can still walk out and do a set of 20 pull ups. My running sucks and I can still hammer out push ups and sit ups. I've been trying to gain some wieght so I quit running. While I'm in Iraq anyhow.

 

I busted out like 15 the firstime i ever tryed..pull up is about is about the only thing boot camp gave me....i can do pull all day,it kinda becomes addictive lol

 

My fastest mile is 5:30...and I can do 9 pull-ups LOL

 

my last pt test was last month, just NG for now, 57 push ups 1 min 38 situps 1 min and my run time one mile 10 mins i ******* hate running with the passion of a thousand burning suns!

 

i can do a bunch more close grip than wide. wide grip i'm suffering at 10.

 

**** if im gonna enlist i got a **** load of work to do. I can do 12oz curls all night though.

 

you'd be surprised at how quick the body responds to stressing it out and moreover how fast it adapts and how quick you progress. you just have to not be too much of a pansy about things.
