Don't mind the super gangster turbo 72 datsun 510. If you saw anymore of it your face would melt and I'd feel bad if you were in the hospital for christmas.

I don't suggest that si subcage. Saw a guy at the spot a few weeks ago lowside not very hard, like a mini pancake hit directly on that peg and broke the mounts on the subframe. I suggest a subcage with folding pegs and I believe OMR is the only one with that design at the moment.

damn that is so gay. oh well its already ordered..
I did see however the option of folding stock pegs that go with it and i went with the straight fat ones..

if i break it ill weld it. if i break the subframe. ill build one in steel. if i bend that.. ill heat it up and bend it back..

and so forth !

Yeah I suggest re enforceing the the subframe tabs with and aluminum block inbetween before putting it on and you may be alright. Just depends on how you crash, sometimes you hit it just right. Right when powers and si came out with there subcages and I saw the pics of the solid pegs the first thing I thought was broken tabs or tweaking the subframe, but anything is better than nothing at all. Though the stock f4i pass pegs are pretty stout..

Re: All Done

What is the si subframe made out of ? steel or aluminum?

if steel then dope.. ill jus made a steel sub for the f4i (not sayin the f word that ends with e) and weld it on there.. or i can tap some threads and put it in the right way.. i tend to use weld **** str8 up lol

Re: All Done

QUESTION?

Would a subcage for a 2007 suzuki gsxr 600 be of any use?

I know that my bike has a soft subframe. Does is help protect it?

Re: All Done

it's got a 929 front end but you have to change out the bearings.
