Re: bike week

I would like to make the trip as well. My mom lives very close to there. I could kill 2 birds with one trip.

Now see, this is where I'd insert some corny joke about Matt shopping at GAP and being a loser, but I'm above that, so I won't...

I don't want to break in land speed records. I would like to ride it a few times so one day I could take it at a fair rate of speed. Frist thing for me is to learn what corners are further coming. LOL

Only a few times? Dude, I rode it 11 times back and forth in one day. And still had time to go get my tires replaced.
Yeah, I don't think I will be trying to keep up with you Rus. I was feeling pretty good there last year, and then on my 9th pass, some gap regulars blitzed by me so I thought I'd tag along. That lasted until the first turn we came to. I was leanded over so far that my muffler, brake pedal and kickstand were scraping and I still ran wide into the other lane and almost off the road. From then on and from now on I will ride with how I feel comfortable and meet up with you and Darren at the overlook/Crossroads. No sense wadding your bike trying to keep up with someone that you won't be able to anyways.
The trip sounds awesome, especially if we can get a few people from group to go as well. I'll ride my bike so I don't need any trailer space. Damn, I wish May was the next month after Feb.

Re: bike week

I had a video of the ride somewhere. If anyone needs a place to stay, there is room for a few at my mom's house. It is in Strawberry Plains, about 15 mins from the GAP.
