That's right.
Since the 50's, europe went on from building small, cheap utility mopeds
for the afterwar, broke european people
wich eventually overgrew the standard "bicycle with an engine" philosophy
and gave life to some real [I][B]monsters[/B][/I].

When people wants real power in a package as small as a working boot
that's the result:
Piaggio and Gilera built what's to be considered the fastest, baddest ass ever scooter:
the Gilera Runner 180 SP.

When eco-mentalist still didn't rule the world,
2stroke was still the way to go;
easy like that, put a 180cc engine in there, add some italian-made frame and suspensions, and there you go:
Sitting on it is like sitting on a Scud missile: all you hear is the 2stroke whine,
and you're ready for almost everything: from mafia driveby shootings, to Trophys,
to illegal racing.

And i can't find ONE single image of a stock Runner.. guess why.

You don't need 'em.
You need a Runner 180 for your town
quite as much as you would need a Renault Clio Williams to travel around states.

the engine rocks.. and only with kit 172 malossi with stock exhaust it goes crazy :) the engine is perfect for swap on SR or NRG and other models :) i think if i found only engine to put it on my mc3 :)

Our favorite move here is to stuff that 180 engine in an otherwise stock Piaggio Zip,
160 pounds dry weight:
suicidal.

not to mention make it street legal. Many european vehicles get in the US with minor modifications.. but that'd be your business anyway, i don't know how complex it could be.

and you'd be pretty much alone in the desert when it comes to spares.
even the silliest of them all. we could help by shipping you spares though..

well I know a couple companies ship just the rolling chassis and then ship the engine seperately and claim it as a kit car.

I am on the look out for a motor...Im considering a honda reflex engine if I can find one into a light weight sporty scoot chassi.

Honda Reflex.. it's called the Jazz down here, 250cc,
way different from your favourite scooter.
i'd say
try to import an Aerox.. there's tons out here for sale.

I know its kind of the opposite...but its on the table for a scooter build...Im going to ask around to see whats up with getting a scooter shipped over here.
