There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS 1 Attachment(s) I almost forgot Aprilia is officially imported in the US. Hell, The Mother Of All Sports Scooters it's right there, the venerable SR50. The baddest-assed sport scoot ever built. From its very first appearance, more than 15 years ago.. the SR really was the beginning of an era. And still now it's one of the most tuned-up scooters around. And go figure.. it's even imported in the US! Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS These scooters are pretty sweet. We sell Aprilia where I work and I was impressed with the SR50. Its really fast and it even logs your laps times!! |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS I almost got that first Aprilia before my Zuma. Same price too |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS yep... my first bike was an RSV!:yeah I always thought of gettin my daughter an aprilia scooter or something for her first street legal motorcycle...Aprilia does have style I have to give them that! |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS Thanks guys :) well aprilia not only has style.. they're really great considering it's a rather small factory. @shrtcakelace: how much do they sell out for? |

Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS the Aprilia is way sweeter than the zuma :yeah |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS What years were the blue ones body style made? (2nd to last bottom pic) I doubt I can justify buying one brand new...but I really like that style so maybe used? |

Take a look here: http://www.bikepics.com/aprilia/sr50/04/pics.asp |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS Aprillia scooters is fucked up to stunt with! The old sr is possible but the newer ditech is inpossible! |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS
the Aprilia is way sweeter than the zuma :yeah
I dunno why I passed up such a sick deal.. I was just set on a Zuma for some reason:banghead |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS It was the exact one from the first picture.. Color and all. |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS
It was the exact one from the first picture.. Color and all.
The ditech SR is going about 4sekounds on bakwheel then the engine shut off so be happy ;) |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS Why do the apes suck to stunt? |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS
The ditech SR is going about 4sekounds on bakwheel then the engine shut off so be happy ;)
DiTech engines were an attempt to have clean, quasi-emission free 2stroke engines. Sorta of an electronic-injected two stroke engine. They never worked that good though. Get a normal carb'ed pre-2001 Minarelli model ( or >2004, Piaggio block ) and you're ready to roll, no other scooter has such an ENORMOUS amount of aftermarket mods, kits and spares available. none. |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS 2nd Gen looks tits :yeah were they imported into the US? or just the newer injection models? |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS
2nd Gen looks tits :yeah were they imported into the US? or just the newer injection models?
ebay's got some new shit, '06 models dunno about your usual used stuff channels, such as Craiglist.. How do you search for used cars/bikes in the US? |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS
Thanks guys :) well aprilia not only has style.. they're really great considering it's a rather small factory. @shrtcakelace: how much do they sell out for?
We sell them around MSRP which is $3099 but usually we take a couple hundred off |
Re: There we go.. now we're talking BUSINESS The only complaint I've ever had about Aprilia is that if you're ordering accessories for them it takes forever to get them from Italy. They're not exactly fast but other than that they're great. |
