driving in anaheim and saw this guy riding a street bike that i didnt recognize. it turned out to be a BMW. is this the first model of its kind or are there more BMW street bikes? :shruggs[IMG]http://z.about.com/d/motorcycles/1/0/I/V/-/-/BMW_S_1000_RR_right.jpg[/IMG]

It's new. I've never seen it in that color though. Only black or olive green.

I can't fault you for that. They have had numerous STREET bikes, this is their first SuperSport oriented bike

This is an amazing machine. If any of you check out Sport Rider, they have a huge article about it.

All the anti wheelie features, ABS, and traction control, can all be turned off.

It is the first sportbike BMW has ever made, however after the success of this one, they want to make more.
