Re: BRAKING USA rear Honda rotor!!! might get that if you still have it in like 2 weeks. I wonder why the dont chamfer the bolt holes? seems like it'd be better that way. on a side note, like a week ago I took my worn rotor and drilled the holes bigger and chamfered them, HB definatly seems to be stronger now. |
Re: BRAKING USA rear Honda rotor!!! ^Eh?? |

Re: BRAKING USA rear Honda rotor!!!
what exactly did you do i have a spare rotor to try this. ive heard of this but never knew what all i have to do.
drill all the bolt holes bigger(3/8ths) then drill each hole just a little with a 1/2 bit, just to smooth the sharp edges. A drill press makes this way easier. now that the pads have completely worn into the rotor I can tell that its defiantly better than before. If I end up buying sketchy's rotor I will defiantly do this before installing it |

Re: BRAKING USA rear Honda rotor!!!
I still dont get it, what does this do exactly?
it butchers a rotor!! :LOL |
Re: BRAKING USA rear Honda rotor!!!
I still dont get it, what does this do exactly?
purpose of the holes is to release gases that build up between the pad and rotor under hard braking, so if a few small holes are good a few bigger holes are better right, haha, maybe not, but it defiantly feels better to me |
