New Gsxr 1000
 

As A die hard GSXR only rider I have to say the new 1000 blows.
I saw it last weekend at the long beach show and what A disapointment.
Its 13 pounds heavier, yes heavier.The stupid exhaust is the worst of any
Manufacture for 07.The bike is wider, the head lamp has gone busa style
and there wasnt anything I liked about it.I havent rode it.But I just cant imagine it feeling better than the 05-06.I think they took steps backwards.
Im curious to see it with new exhaust and race fairings.Has anyone else seen
it and what do you think?

naw jk, but i havent liked the looks of the gix1000's since like 02.
if i was gonna get a new 1000 itd definitely be yamaha.

I think the r1 looks good, but i'm a gixxer fan too. I thought the '05-'06 gixxer thou was ugly, but it grew on me.

I am with you I hate the new gsxr grands, but I really like the 03-04s the best, they have my favorit tail out of all of the years any way.

I'm sure he wasn't talking about the color when he said it looks different.... look at the headlights, the ram air ducts, the frame, the swing arm... it's all different, not just the color:2cents
