AR-15 build

Any body ever put together a lower reciever on an ar-15. I have a few ARs and i like them so much that i decided to build my own. I just had a stripped lower sent to my ffl dealer an a kit to put it together, I was just wondering if any body could give any tips on putting them together????

where and how much is the lower....also will any lower go with any upper? thanks
