Re: Wheelie slow them down learn BP and throttle control so you can stay in 1st or 2nd |
Re: Wheelie i dont wanan stay in 1st or second i can do bp, but cant go through the gears soo well ? |
Re: Wheelie bring it up in a higher gear and keep that speed.. |
Re: Wheelie go past the bp & then switch gears:cheers |
Re: Wheelie just clutch it up in 1st and keep your index finger, and your middle finger on the clutch. NOT applying pressure.......but resting there waiting to pull it in again. then keep the rest of your fingers wrapped around the bars. when you've clutched it up in 1st, just listen as the gear winds up then let the front of the quad drop just a little bit AS YOU pull in the clutch to shift. then gentley release the clutch.......and there ya go! do that through all your gears. |
Re: Wheelie i jus pop it up in first and when its to the bp i jus pull the clucth in siwtch n back on the gas i guess u jus gotta do it till get it to where u like it |
Re: Wheelie yea shifting in wheelies is so easy just use the clutch real quick |
Re: Wheelie master 1st through 3rd then work on the outher stuff....:2cents you better know how to steer that shit at high speed(40mph or faster) things can get ugly real fast at them speeds.....it dosent sound like you are ready to me...:nono take your time slow stuff is just as chalegning as fast stuff :YEAH you just have so little room for error going fast :banghead as a general rule i dont do it fast unless i got it nailed down slow.....:hello |
Re: Wheelie i almost had one get REALLY ugly on me one night.. i was goin down a street in 5th.. pulled it up and it started going back and wobbling.. i started getting scared REALLY fast... however.. i am a sucker for catwalking wheelies through 6th |
Re: Wheelie catwalking :shruggs explain please..... |
Re: Wheelie
i jus pop it up in first and when its to the bp i jus pull the clucth in siwtch n back on the gas i guess u jus gotta do it till get it to where u like it
i used to have a 300ex, i always had trouble getting past third, the drop in tourqe always f&*%$d me up...:whoopass: :cheers |
Re: Wheelie i scraped in 5th gear this past weekend, the quad started wobblin from one tire to the other, i thought i was done but somehow i got that bitch back down without it getting ugly but it scared the shit out of me |
Re: Wheelie I know some people that shift without the clutch, but I never got that. I always use one finger and a little clutch action... |
Re: Wheelie yea its better for the quad to just use the clutch real quick |
Re: Wheelie
catwalking :shruggs explain please.....
wheelie from a dead stop to wot in final gear |
Re: Wheelie thanks....that shit is eazy no probs here....i just need a road long enough to get through all the gears...... |
Re: Wheelie not even nessecarily to WOT but def into 5th gear or final gear.. |
Re: Wheelie I'm sorry, but if you realy want to learn this. There was ONE post that will help you learn...............The rest :bs Go past balance point then shift stay high in the revs .........That's it. Don't feel dumb it's not as simple to go through ALL the gears every time without dropping it down it takes a little practice to get it down real good. :2cents Doing it in the middle of combo's is sick !! |
Re: Wheelie Just shift quick and as soon as it comes back jsut tap the break and learn your throttle, just takes practice. |
