if i went 1 down in front and 2 up in the back wuld i have to replace the chain. the bikes only got 2400 miles on it so its a pretty new chain and it would suck to have to buy another new one but if u gotta then u gotta

The stock chain is an "endless" chain (has no master link) so you'd have to replace it either way

your changes in sproket sizes arnt great enought to change your chain size, your adjustment will work to those changes without adding/removing links...you should get a new chain though......
