Lowering 99 Yz400f

any cheap way to lower a yz400f? i know about moving front forks at tripple clamp but what about the rear?

is it like a sport bike? If so have some new dogbones make up.

Shave the seat foam. If you raise the forks in the clamp you may notice quicker feeling steering.
