Installing Wheelie Bar
 
this damn search thing wont work so i have to start a new thread, im installing a wheelie bar on my gsxr 600 and i was wondering how far beyond the back tire do you guys have yours? Thanks.

You taking it to New England Dragway and need a wheelie bar? That 600 can't pull the frint tire up.

thats what im saying just weld it to the end of ur subframe that should be good or holla at one of us im sure we will give u a hand (ill do it for u if i can scrape it first)

what part of the bike should i drill the 12 oclcok bar into? i know the back but like what exact part?

It should allready have pre drilled holes where the subframe meets the frame that's what my 905 12bar was like

there are pre drilled holes in the 905 bar, but no holes in the actual subframe, do i have to drill into my frame? my frame is also a strong plastic(2009 yamaha r6)

its not strong plastic its cast aluminum, yes you have to drill it

I'm talking about the bolts used to bolt the subframe to the frame. Take those bolts out slip the 12 bar in betwee. Then bolt back up that's all I had to do

your 12 bar is long enough to reach where the subframe mounts to the frame :shruggs thats really long :shruggs

not only an 04 thread, but one dude now has a strong plastic frame on his bike
