how to start off

I am pretty much clueless as where to start and on what(type of bicycle) I had a mongoose xr-75 and learned stoppies but tore up the rear wheel. What is a good durable bike to start with? (Brand, model, price, type) are mountain bikes good to stunt on? Dual suspension? Single speed? Any input would help. I tried searching but I am on a mobile browser so it sucks. Good looking out!

I definitly prefer mounatinbikes to stunt on.
Just as you I started with a MTB, but that one was'nt strong enough to hold the forces when the back or frontwheel came down.

Now I ride a hardtial bike( frontsuspension). It's an specialized rockhopper with V-brakes.
If you want good brakes you have to order a bike with v_brakes or hydrolic discbrakes( but they are expensive).

My bike was like 700 euro( I'm from Europe) so that's like 947.30 dollard i think.

It's an XC bike. That's good for wheelies coasters stoppies etc.
You can also look for something like Gaint or Gary fisher.

Hope you'll find a good bike!

Cool. Thanks. Yeah I think I would prefer a 26" bike. I don't think haro or BMX bikes have bigger than 20" wheels (right?) Thanks sky. Looks like a cool site. Thanks fast... I appreciate your advice. It helped out a lot. Are spoked wheels good or bad?
