Re: wheelie on 20 inch wheels at tire country
Hey division one ryan is it easy to mount those on like a z400 or something do u have to do any mods to the quad or do u just bolt the the rims on like a regular rim any info thanks man be cool nick :cheers
you need to make a set of adapters to go from z400 hub to wheels any machine shop can do them or you can call that place in truckin mag who builds custom adapters but they are high$$$ i made a set for voodoo animal a while back but he never put them on |
Re: wheelie on 20 inch wheels at tire country not too much, a couple hundred dollars, 2 piece adaptors, had them adapt out to a 5-4.5 bolt pattern, very popular pattern, next ones I get I am goin to have them adapt to 6-5.5 so I can put my 26''s on it. :apimp |
Re: wheelie on 20 inch wheels at tire country damn 26's thats crazy really how does that clutch hold up??? i would do it to my z but afraid im gonna smoke the clutch |
Re: wheelie on 20 inch wheels at tire country I don't really ride all the time, I have it parked in front of my shop for advertisment. I just wheelie every now and then. For entertainment. :laughing |
Re: wheelie on 20 inch wheels at tire country how does it come up compared to stock is it a lot harder to get up ?? basically what im asking would you suggest someone doing it to put put everynow and then or no |
Re: wheelie on 20 inch wheels at tire country its way harder to get up, the wheels weigh like 100 pounds together do you really have yank up, as far as everyday use I wouldn't, it would tear the clutch up, and I had them on a 400ex one time doin wheelies in the parade for a about 30 minutes it bent the tie rods I guess from coming down hard or somethin. |
Re: wheelie on 20 inch wheels at tire country
that's pretty cool :Dsmile is that quad going to be run on the street legally? that would be pimp! I guess in AZ people legally run them on the road all the time. anyone know the deal?
I've never seen one here in Az, and I'm pretty sure you can't make a quad street-legal here. I'm gonna put some 20's on my Gixxer, see how that turns out... :laughing |
Re: wheelie on 20 inch wheels at tire country hey..it a quad with waggon wheels!!! funny how things end up where they started. |
