how did u get the lip of the cap to be so flush with the rest of the dent. i know you have to cut the splash guard. or did you make it flush with a lot of bondo?

it works good, i put a little to much (3 layers) of spray rubberized undercoating on it tho. grip tape + 1 layer of spray would prolly work the best.
