Yo I tried to dent my tank on the XR-50 by jumping on it and it just cracks and shatters pieces why isn't it denting?

i accidently dented the gas tank of my 1985 z50 with my nuts/boney butt cheeks comming down from high chairs...but to do it on puropse:shruggs the new ones hold you fine with that bulky gas cap to catch your nutz on:LOL[ATTACH]270197[/ATTACH]

Yeah that was my last resort but I wanted to ride today Sunday so the JB weld worked. If it doesn't hold up I will get it welded for sure.

Ouch!!!! :banghead i've dented quite a few tanks and never had that happen wtf.....:shruggs
i'd say you dented the lip down and then in to far towards the outsides causing the center to pull apart and tear
