They sure did. When I had my 929 I ordered a service manuel from ebay uk and the color code for it is in there. Shits dope.

white/black and yellow/black 954's are SWEET.

I think color shemes were all the same in Europe and I´ve never seen a white/black one, I´m sure you mean the white/purple one, the F4i also came in white/purple and it looked nice too.
