Start staggered. It gives you more leverage bringing it back and it was easier for me. Also, baby steps. Try doing smaller baby wheelies and ride em out. You gotta get a feel for that balance point. Im just trying to keep your bike alive A little longer! ha Keep it up

if you want to learn idle you nvr ride out the wheelies...it becomes habit forming and will slow your progression...best way is clutch up and hit you foot break to bring it back down...just keep doing that over and over again bringing it a lil higher and higher...untill you have to use barley any gas to keep the wheelie going..turn your idle up to about 3,000 rpm that way when you finally are catching idle your bike pulls you along and you dont have to use barley any gas...for the most part its all break contol...

I started while sitting down and going about 15mph. Best I've done so far is about 2 secs and bike was only half way up. Is it better / easier to start while standing and hardly moving?(I'm guessing it's called "idle wheelies"?)
