Re: sitting and standup

sit down you can come back further (which feels like you'll loop) bc you'r center of gravity is more in the middle and weight is distributed differently when you'r in stagg... just cover the brake and kill it

you too, i thought i was the only one :LOL

as for advise dude you just have to grow a set and just do it, im not trying to sound like an ass but just cover your brake and go after it. crashing is learning and thats all apart of the game, practice is the only thing that will get ya where you want to go.

I've been trying to ride out staggard for a while now, i feel like I hit a wall, i'm just not improving, until the other day when I really pushed myself and ended up scraping and i was so surprised i hopped off and let the bike fall.. After that, I feel soo much more comfortable.

everyone on here always says "sack up and cover the brake".. Reading it so many times you kind of dismiss it, but really, that is the best advice.

Whatever position you're doing, cover that rear brake or hand brake, slip the clutch, rip on it, bring it up higher and higher every time, and catch it with the brake.

How do u guys recommend practicing wheelies at slower speeds or higher speeds. And is the best way to learn wheelies is just getting a cage or going to a lot and dropping till you learn?? let me know how u feel

Re: sitting and standup

Sit downs are hard to learn for some people but they are way way fun once you get them. I would recommend learning staggered and say fuck stand up because stand ups are not practical if you plan on learning to slow wheelies down or learn idle or anything.

When learning the basics of a wheelie ( and i mean everything from balance point to 12's and idle) i would say stick with one body position, and then you will have a greater understanding when you switch to a different body position. Thats just my :2cents though and everybody learns differently.

Have fun and remember to look at the HOW TO WHEELIE threads in the how to section because hundreds of questions like this have been answered there very thoroughly.

Slow and yup pretty much. Seat time. Nothing will help you more than getting out and actually doing it. Everything takes practice, you aren't going to learn to be a baller welder or shred a guitar by just reading and getting advice, you have to practice.

Stand up will probably be easier for you to get used to the oh shit feeling you are experiencing. :LOL But really it's all up to you.
