03/04 05/06 front wheel swap ?
 

is it a straight conversion when swapping the 05/06 front wheel to an 03/04 bike?
i know alot of you have done it...
and if your putting wave rotors on that 05/06 front wheel do you need to space it out? and by how much? if anyone has done this before.

How about you pair them up with some 05-06 inverted forks. Problem solved ;)

i was wondering the same thing....but i have the 05-06 forks....(just got the wheel in) and didn't know if the rotors are the same diameter

05/06 rotors are 10mm larger in diameter than the 03/04 rotors. The 05/06 forks space the calipers 10mm farther out than the 03/04 forks.

You CAN use 05/06 rotors with the 03/04 forks, but will need to make some sort of 10mm spacer to put the calipers out far enough.

we're gonna make our own spacers

just look at the top of the pads when your done making the spacers and make sure it is flush with the top of the rotor
