useing the throttle on circles i think i am ready to try doing circles, and i was wanting to know how you guys use the throttle when you are doing them. when the bike starts to dip into the lean, is that when you give it a little? or do you just idle through most of it:shruggs |
Re: useing the throttle on circles I'm in the process of learning myself can only get 1 shitty one at a time for the most part but it's a start. Found these links useful.circles 101. The CLASSIC circles thread by gorka http://www.starboyz.com/vboard/show...ghlight=circles The real good thread from last month https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90663 (Circle Wheelies) Sit downs https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93956 (sit down circles) I found the think of it as a berm concept makes sense, but it's the feeling like BP for the first time. |
Re: useing the throttle on circles Just go in hot dip way back. scrape it if you have to, and then throw the bike over . Im usualy on the brake for the first 1/2 to 3/4 of the circle. then use your body gas and brake to keep it going. Lean into the bike also. I found if I hung back it would start spinning so fast it was like I was getting ripped of the back of the bike. And doin circles you can give it alot more gas than a strait line idle wheelie. Its just practice. play with your idle settings to. when I started out the lower the better but now im back up to about 2,400 rpms. on stock gearing. Good luck. Its not to hard. |

Im sure people would have said the same shit if I posted that I was ready for circles. I guess it is kinda dumb to ask how to do it. But then again all the reading I did im sure it helped. Like pulling the clutch in before I highsided. Im sure I would have dumped it bad if I didnt know that simple little fact. |
i can post when weather gets better, i can ride slow 12s all day, and if it starts to lean i just try to correct it, instead of trying to do the circle:whoopass: |
