sick innovations 12 bar help
 

ok so i got my 12 bar, its from sick innovations, they sent me some directions, but werent very thorough, does anyone have any tips on how to mount a 12 bar where you have to drill into the subframe? or does anyone have any pics of thier sick innovations bar mounted so i can see? thanks

you got instructions??? is it a flat bar or round bar??

throw the bike back on the subframe slide the bar under it and mark it where you want it...it doesn't matter where you put it as long as it is even and the bike is at a true 12 or past.

i have the round bar

i didnt get instructions, but this is how i mounted mine. 2001 F4i round bar- 1. grind outside welds down flush with subframe. 2. fit bar flush up to the underside and back side of the subframe and mark your holes. 3. you dont have to do this, but i did. i also ground down the inside weld and cut pieces of 3/8" steel and drilled holes to match the bar/subframe, i did this for strength so the inside nut is butted up against the plate not the subframe. 4. bolt up the bar and go stunt. if you need more info let me know and i will post pictures.

i got a regular 12 bar, not a round bar, stock05, i think i get what your talking about, but could you post some pics?

ok, i got it clamped on today, but just couldnt get it exactly right, i really need pics fo someone elses subframe with the 12 bar
