my circles are gaaabage!!!!

im rocking 15 up front and 60 in the rear i find myself hitting the bar a lot about 1/2 through my turn. my idle is at 3g's does that sound to high???

Re: my circles are gaaabage!!!!

hitting the bar = too much idle

Your bar also looks pretty long.. If you're dipping hard, it looks like it'd be easy to hit..

your bar is too long and you are leaning too far into the circle... also try hitting the brake

Re: my circles are gaaabage!!!!

If you're talking basic circles, i.e. foot on rear peg or on back seat, do yourself a favor and take a weekend and learn them without the idle. Then, once you can clutch it up and bang out at least 5 or so circles with your gangster throttle/brake control, go back to the idle and you'll rock 10-20 like it's cake.....chances are, this sounds too much like work and probably won't be done, but it's the best advice I could give you that will benefit your riding. If you're hitting your bar, you're probably leaning in too far and juicing the throttle or letting off the brake too much then jamming the brake causing the suspension to compress and bang your tail section into the pavement. Brake/throttle control will most likely remedy your problem.

Re: my circles are gaaabage!!!!

So circles with no idle you just slow it down and then turn it in and get on the gas and use the brake to keep it at the right angle?

at 2g's do you still come in at idle or use the throttle?

Re: my circles are gaaabage!!!!

I turned my idle up one day and the whole assembly twisted off in my hand.....So, no idle for me. It's been that way ever since.
