SORRY, 3 |
isnt the crash cage meant to keep your plastics intact as well as trans cover etc??  |
Uhm, that looks like thing sheet aluminum. First, aluminum sucks for rigidity. That's one of the reason sportbike frames get trashed so easily. Second, flat pieces like that suck for rigidity. Even if it's steel, I don't see it doing anything except making rectangular marks on your oil pump cover, clutch cover, stator cover, frame, and cylinder #4. It's just not even mounted that well to begin with. Not trying to dis your work, but your idea seems to suck. |
well let me tell you y it dosnt-1st $8 -actally will slide w/o making major indentations-mounting donsnt effect any pressure points in case of accident, actually braced strong, and no, i'm not stupid enough to use alum., and finnaly-I did a ghost drop on both sides, and a ghost-coast about 10 mph to pavement W/O SLIDERS, AND EVERYTHING HELD UP!!!:hello |
whatever works for you, if it held up, then good design, cant rip on that, i just thought youd want it over the plastics so those dont get smoked off |
That's sweet D! Good thinkin |
are you test and designing this to one day sell to fellow stunters???? |
