F4i ECU swap
 

I recently bought a 2001 F4i. It was so much fun riding it, and then 3 hours later it died. I was being stupid and jumped it with a portable jump starter for cars. It fried all of the electrical. I have no gauge cluster, bank sensor, speed sensor, headlights, blinkers, anything. It blew all the fuses after it fried everything.

My questions are, can I run the bike without the gauge cluster?

And

I know this is a dumb question, but, can I swap my ecu out with a 2001 cbr600rr ecu?

I couldn't fine any difference in the electrical between the two bikes besides the gauge cluster, but if run without one of those, would I still not be able to use a different ecu?
