hope you have the bike paid in full.
Otherwise your going to get bent over.

Otherwise have your parents insure it.

Re: insurance for 17 year old

hopfully you have it paid off, and don't expect to be able to afford full coverage..

I know when I first got insured, I got quoted for $3,000 for 6 months on full coverage...

or $360 for a full year liability on my f4i

Im 19, NEVER had insurance on anything, been in 1 not at fault accident

that means the bike is not insured upon a accident...but you are correct? if so id be fine with that :)

ya

so if I total my bike out nad its all my fault, I dont get shit.. But if I hit someone else, there shit gets fixed

Only thing you need to be "legal" which is the only reason I run it

Go with bikeline, for my 04 f4i, in DE, I pay 600$ a year, then again, thats minimum coverage, its the cheapest I could find.

If you can't go under your parents, you are going to get ****ed.. I paid $200 a month for liability on my f4i at 18 because my parents lived in another state..

Re: insurance for 17 year old

Did you go through a big company? Like american family? Geico? or some other bull shit/

the big companys rape you.

American family was the first place I went. They wanted $1500 a year liability, and then they found out the coulden't even insure mecause you have to have 10 years driving experience and 5 years riding experience!

I went to a motorcycle insurance place locally, $360 for a full year..
and like I said
NEVER had insurance in my life, been in an accident not at fault, and had a few no insurance tickets

Re: insurance for 17 year old

yeah that sounds like the way to go. i have no points on my record...i had 2 tickets i got dropped and insurance never saw them.
