Cbr 1000rr I'm seriously close to purchasing one due to the lack of leftover 954's anywhere, although I've never actually ridden any 1000rr's to anyone who owns one or ridden one, whats your thoughts on the bike all around, stunt, feel, ride etc... :YEAH |
Re: Cbr 1000rr i wouldnt stunt it, i havent tried to stunt one because i didnt have a lid on and it wasnt my bike, but i did take it up & down the street a few times and i have to say, that bike is fast, really fast. i would get it for a daily rider but i wouldnt stunt it. save your money and get a used bike if you are going to stunt. you will be pissed after spending 10,000 just to trash a bike. :2cents get an old 929 or a f4i. oh and the handling on the bike was perfect. |
Re: Cbr 1000rr I love my 1000RR but I don't know if I would turn it to stunt only. Thats a lot of money to turn into a stunt bike. |
Re: Cbr 1000rr dude.....u on a pocket bike......in ur avater......how far did u wheelie |
Re: Cbr 1000rr I can wheelie that thing pretty far. Probably 100 feet. |
Re: Cbr 1000rr i heard it's stock dampner doesn't work well for stoppies. |
Re: Cbr 1000rr i parked one 12 style...on accident...didnt cover the brake and pulled to hard....messed my knee up pretty good....and the muffler |
Re: Cbr 1000rr
i heard it's stock dampner doesn't work well for stoppies.
true dat. |

What's the difference, I mean 10,000 is still 10,000 right? Just curious as to why would you want a 1000 to stunt off of anyway? If you find a shortage of 954's for sale come to Texas, 'cause there's plenty of 'em down here, for sale that is.........Late Free :apimp C............ Major without a Major. |
Re: Cbr 1000rr Yeah the HESD is straight dumpsta for endos. You can't adjust it so the computer doesn't know to stiffen the front for an endo. It is great for racing and high speed turns though. I'm not turnin my RR into a stunt bike though. I'll just find a 929 somewhere and stunt it. |
Re: Cbr 1000rr what about that one dude that backflips off everything. doesnt he ride a 1000rr? hes pretty good at stunting his bike. |
Re: Cbr 1000rr I stunt all my bikes, but I dont stunt them to the point they are trashed. I just had my 929 stolen not too long ago, cant find any leftover 954's and I gotta buy new (financing) so thats why I'm curious about the 1000 tryin to find a repsol is hard |
Re: Cbr 1000rr If you are gonna stunt it don't get the Repsol. Plus you are payin alot more for just stickers and some little crap. |
Re: Cbr 1000rr Personally I'd buy a ZX-10 over any bike out even the new 1000. They just did a shootout with all the liter bikes for 05, and even though the GSXR came out on top, they said they would have picked the ZX-10 if it had come with a damper stock. The CBR1000RR came in 4th. The ZX-10 was the lightest, most flickable, most powerful, most wheelie prone bike of all. |
Re: Cbr 1000rr I've had a kawi in 98, had a gsxr in 99 .. been honda ever since, just my preference, dont really care what magazine shootouts have to say or how good suzuki is doing in AMA this year there has to be someone out there stunting the 1000rr??? right??? |
Re: Cbr 1000rr ThoudubbaRR's are sweet arse street/race bikes; very, very stable, awesome USABLE power and brakes. ZX10R's are decent streetbikes if your 5 foot 4 and ride about four poser miles a day. Magazines don't mean shite especially when were talkin' about stuntin'. I ridden both of them and the Bottom Line is neither one is a really good stuntbike. Get a 6hondo! |
Re: Cbr 1000rr which would u rather do. the 1000rr would be good for wheelies cuz all the torque but for mainly stuntin id go with a 600 a lot lighter and smaller. if you like lots of speed and occasional stunts...1000RR all the way |
Re: Cbr 1000rr 1000rr's break really easy the subframes are like butter if you wanna stunt go get a 929 or 954 :cheers |
