Not much of a difference between any of the big 4, go with what youre used to, where your loyalties are...
or whichever you can find cheapest :cheers

Depends if you're buying new or not. Not sure what the latest CR125 engine is like but the last few years they've been soft. The RM hauls. I know where I'd put my money.

I'd stay away from both of 'em just because 125's wear out engine parts super fast. Have you ever checked out a crf230 or a kdx200/220? both are awesome in the woods and have decent power.

if ur getting a knew bike go with a yamaha , they make the best 2 stroke motors and the fastest...

Re: RM125 or the CR125

ok thanx. i was looking at the kdx200, because i have some woods to ride in, but i have mostly fields to rip around, and i like the powerband of the motocross two strokes. Ive had fourstrokes and i just like the sound of the 2-stroke and the powerband of them more than 4-strokes.

hows the RM125 in the woods?
Nah, Suzuki cheap for parts
Because we all know you are going to be needing them since it's a suzuki...

I like my cr, but also love the yz. RM's are pretty quick but the quality just ins't there in my opinion. The kdx200 is also a great bike for the trails and such, and can even get around a track if your not too serious about it..

This man is right.

Whatever is cheapest or convienent at the time, they're all the same.

I will add:
1. Don't buy new.
2. Unless you want to spend 2-3 times as much, count out the models with the letter F in them, the 4 strokes are stupid expensive.
yea, but i heard the cr125 is has a weak engine.
Lol not to sound like a **** but I suppose you have the ability to use all the power of that 'underpowered' engine? If you only have the ability to handle 50% of the bikes power, then it doesnt matter if another bike has 20% more power...

And also, I would buy new if possible. It sucks picking up other peoples problems..Also, just because it is a honda doesn't mean you don't change the oil or do topends. It still needs to keep fresh, lol.

-Max.

PS. Buy what fits you and feels best. Ergo's IMO are more important then power..

Re: RM125 or the CR125

yea, i just heard that the cr125 doesnt have a strong engine compared to yz or rm or sx. for me suzukis been known to be reliable.

Re: RM125 or the CR125

Well noobkid a 10% increase is speed is useful. A good motor does make a differance, look at all the good 125 riders getting blown away by the moderate 250f riders.

Thats a differant kind of power. Even I'm faster on a 250f then my own bike, but I'm pretty much equal on all the 125's.

And this is Max from db.com, lol.
