TEACH C6 12-02-2003 11:30 AM

unfortunately, everyone i know who is going to motard them already have their motors built, the 2 grand wheel/brake setup, plus the ohlins front end...

i say: run what you brung, it's the mcneil bros way!!

i'll run stock and stuff 'em every corner!!!

i LOOOOVE this bike....i am going to beat off now to a picture of it!

those things are a ****ing blast....perfect for the shitty roads in new england (and the goat trails in NH)...super-retard might be a little expensive, but when you're done you'll have one bike that'll fit any occasion...i know plenty of guys that'll drop knee on their motard and keep up with any sportbike

oh, and dirt jumping's lots of fun too

THECRF DEFFINELTY DOES HAVE NICE POWER
I HAD TO HAVE MY FRIENDS CRF 450 FLAT TRACK BIKE DYNO-ED
AT ONE OF HIS RACES AN THE MOTOR WAS BONE STOCK AND TIT WAS DYNOD AT 54 HP THEN WE DYND IT AGAIN WITH THE YOSH EXHAUST AD IT WA 57 SO THEY ARE DEFFINETLY A GOOD POWRED BIKE

racing itself is wicked expensive...but compare the 450 to my gixxer 600:

cost to make into a race bike-
600-mucho money in bodywork, spares, rearsets, clipons
450-$1000 wheels, plus hand guards

crash damage-
600-always a lot
450-woops, i scratched my plastics!

tire expenses-
600-minimum two sets per weekend at three beans a set
450-oh, about two sets per year, three if i wanna get crazy

other uses-
600-just a race bike, albeit a good one
450-today i will motocross, tommorrow i will motard, next month i will ice race it!!

i loooooove racing period and there is nothing like wicking a 600 close to its' full potential, but the 450 is going to be a ball of fun, and at a much lower cost!!

oh ya, i may compete on the 450 next year!! not really, but i will have a street legal kit on it!!

everyone should have one of these things!
