Shannon does them. I think he said $400 beans the other night. Wasn't it you who asked him?

Jay Carnes 10-23-2003 11:42 AM

Pete @ comp edge - or the guys @ K&W.

I know pete does have a good hook up. I'd like to do a set too. im gonna do em purple. god im gay.

jimmyjammer 10-23-2003 11:45 AM

$400 is outa frikin line to do a powder coat job. Sorry Shannon but that's crazy pricey

Jay Carnes 10-23-2003 12:04 PM

is it? oh. Shows what i know. what is a good price for a set of wheels stripped down? option #2. why not just paint them gray or black?

jimmyjammer 10-23-2003 12:06 PM

I'm gonna go with the paint option but would rather have them powder coated if it's only like 100 or 150 to do it. I will strip the wheels myself.

I dunno I'm a cheap ****

hessogood 10-23-2003 12:12 PM

$400 is way out of line. Everyone that I've heard of getting them done has gotten it for a pack of smokes and 12 of heiniken at the most.

jimmyjammer 10-23-2003 12:15 PM

No shiot 12 pack of Heiniken and smokes. What kind of smokes?

KB

Jay Carnes 10-23-2003 12:31 PM

Well, smokes are like 100 a pack right now. Damn state tax

KB I am gonna be paiting some parts soon in my garage. If you help me move my new paint booth out of my bedroom and down to the garage we can shoot your wheels also. I alread got a gun and going to get paint in a week or so.

Brian_C6 10-23-2003 01:40 PM

well, I'm sure that price included pick up bike, remove rims from bike, remove tires, remove wheel bearing, prep / strip, powdercoat, cure, wheel bearing installation, tire install, high speed balance, re-install on bike, and drop off your house. $400 isn't bad dude.

:badcop

I'm sure. I think a can of Krylon sounds good at this point.

Xfrnohands 10-24-2003 02:40 AM

nastytls 10-24-2003 04:48 PM

$400 is criminal. I paid under $200.

RR_John 10-24-2003 04:57 PM

that chrome place sucks to much money KB bring they down to Performance Factor and I will take care of you or just call me and we will come get them.

Brian_C6 10-24-2003 05:01 PM
