Fiddy Flats! anyone else have a big problem w/ flats on thier gahd damn fiddy's? Ever since i did a street tire im popin tubes like mad. I took my tire off , even re-taped the inside of the wheel cause i thought the spokes were pokin it or somethin. Sunday i changed it damn cafeful w/ spoons & everything. Put air it in and PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS leaking again! im gonna throw it in the dumpster if i blow another tire! |
if you're running the same pressure as on your 900, I can see why you're getting flats. |
tube pinching the rim, small piece of glass in tire, or spoke poking through. Stop drinking bud light bottles and switch to cans. No glass to break with cans. |
put a little more air, easy to pinch a tube (especiallyo n the street) with high g-forces which flex the tire and pinch the tube... if it is pinched as soon as you change it-keep practicing, cuz you effed up!! also try heavy duty tubes.... Mr. McNeil |
u don't need spoons to change a fiddy tire. I use my bare hands... and knees too :Dsmile Fill the bitch up with air and stop cheatin the easy wheelies. |
the street tire i have is SO F'n hard to change, i can change my 900 tires 10x easier - things stiff as poop. My stock tire i took off w/ a screw driver & my hand. I think im gonna put a knobby back on it. And the 1st flat i did have was from runin' gangsta pressure in the back tire, 1st circle i tried pinched the tube & i got a flat :( im gonna make a dealer change it so i can yell @ them. |
